Help & Support
Answers about your domains, DNS, hosting, servers, short links, wallet and account. Real people on Telegram (t.me/JujuCloudApp) and at hi@jujucloud.com.
Getting started
What is JujuCloud?
JujuCloud is a privacy-first place to buy and run domains, DNS, cPanel hosting, Linux VPS, Windows RDP servers and branded short links. Everything is paid from one prepaid crypto wallet — no card on file and no ID checks.
Do I need to verify my identity?
No. An email address is all you need to create an account. You can also sign in with Google or Telegram.
How do I place my first order?
Most people are set up in a few minutes: Create an account with your email and enter the code we send you. Pick a product — a domain, hosting, a VPS or an RDP server — and add it to your cart. Pay from your wallet balance, or pay the order directly in crypto at checkout. Your service appears in My services as soon as it's ready — usually within minutes — and we email you the details.
Where do I manage my services?
Open My services from the sidebar. It lists every domain, hosting plan, server and short-link plan, with anything that needs your attention (like a renewal) at the top. Click any row to manage it.
Which languages is JujuCloud available in?
English, Spanish and French. Pick yours in Settings → Account → Language or from the language menu. We use the same language for your emails and PDF invoices.
Domains
How do I register a domain?
Search for the name you want on the Domains page. Pick an available extension — the first-year price and the renewal price are both shown before you buy. Add it to your cart and pay from your wallet or in crypto. WHOIS privacy and DNS management are included at no extra cost.
How long does registration take?
Most domains are active within a few minutes. A few extensions (for example .us or .ca) need extra registry checks and can take 24–48 hours. You'll get an email and an in-app alert as soon as it's ready.
Which extensions can I register?
More than 500 — from .com, .net and .org to newer ones like .io, .xyz, .app and .shop. Prices vary by extension and are always shown before you pay; see the Pricing page for current prices.
Is WHOIS privacy included?
Yes. Your name, address, email and phone are hidden from the public WHOIS record automatically, free, on every extension whose registry allows it — there's nothing to switch on. The few extensions that don't allow privacy are marked before you buy.
How do I renew a domain?
Open the domain in My services and choose Renew, or go to Settings → Renewals to see everything that's coming up. Renewals are paid from your wallet, or directly in crypto.
How does auto-renew work for domains?
Turn on auto-renew on the domain's page. Before the expiry date we renew it from your wallet balance. We email you beforehand and warn you if your balance won't cover it, so you can top up in time.
What happens if my domain expires?
The domain stops working, so any website or email using it goes offline. Renew it straight away from the domain's page — the registry's grace period gives you a short window to do this. If that window has passed, contact support and we'll check what's still possible.
Can I delete a domain I no longer need?
Yes. Open the domain → Overview → Delete domain, type the name to confirm, and you have a few seconds to undo. If a hosting plan still uses the domain, we ask you to move or remove the hosting first. Deleting is permanent and isn't refunded.
Can I transfer a domain to or from JujuCloud?
Domain transfers aren't available yet. You can still use a domain registered elsewhere with our hosting or the URL shortener — just point its DNS records at us.
Can I get a domain that's already taken?
No — if someone else has registered a name, search shows it as taken and suggests similar names and extensions that are free.
DNS
How do I add or edit DNS records?
Open DNS from the sidebar, or the DNS tab on a domain's page. Choose the domain. Add, edit or delete A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, NS or SRV records and save. Changes go live on our nameservers right away.
What's the difference between "My domains" and "External"?
My domains are the domains you registered at JujuCloud. External are domains registered elsewhere that use our nameservers — for example one you connected to your hosting plan. You can edit their DNS here too — the first time, we ask you to confirm, because the change affects a domain we don't register. Any short-link hosts (like go.example.com) show as a tag on the domain they belong to.
How do I change nameservers?
In the DNS manager, open the domain and go to Nameservers. Keep our default nameservers to manage records here, or enter your own to manage DNS somewhere else. While custom nameservers are set, records you add at JujuCloud have no effect.
How long do DNS changes take?
Usually a few minutes. Worldwide it can take up to 24–48 hours, because other networks cache old answers for a while (the TTL). Nameserver changes tend to take the longest.
How do I check if my DNS has updated?
Right after you register a domain or switch nameservers, the DNS manager shows a live check of what Cloudflare and Google DNS see for it. You can also run dig or nslookup on your computer.
How do I point a domain to my hosting or server?
Domains registered here are connected automatically when you pick them for hosting or the URL shortener. For a VPS or RDP server, add an A record with the server's IP address. For a domain registered elsewhere, add the records shown in your hosting's Domains tab.
cPanel hosting
Which hosting plans are there?
Every plan runs on X-Red protected hosting with a File Manager, MySQL databases and free HTTPS: Premium X-Red (weekly): billed every 7 days — 1 add-on domain and 2 databases. Premium X-Red HostPanel (monthly): 5 add-on domains and 5 databases. Golden X-Red HostPanel (monthly): unlimited add-on domains and databases, plus visitor captcha and country blocking. Monthly plans can be prepaid for 3, 6 or 12 months to save 10%, 15% or 25%. Current prices are on the Pricing page.
How do I set up hosting?
Choose a plan on the Hosting page. Pick a domain — register a new one, use one you already have here, or connect one from another registrar. Pay from your wallet or in crypto. Setup runs automatically and usually takes a few minutes. We email you and show an in-app alert when your site is live.
How do I upload my website files?
Open your hosting in My services → Website → Files. Upload files or a .zip (we can unzip it for you in one step), and edit, rename, copy, move, zip or delete files right in your browser. Large uploads are sent in chunks, so they don't time out. Your main site lives in public_html.
How do I install WordPress?
Open your hosting → Apps and choose Install WordPress. It installs in the background; when it's done you'll see your site and admin links plus a one-time admin password, which you can reset later from the same tab.
Can I host more than one website?
Yes. Add add-on domains and subdomains under Domains — each add-on gets its own folder (for example public_html/example). The weekly plan includes 1 add-on domain, Premium includes 5 and Golden is unlimited.
How do I connect a domain registered elsewhere?
Go to your hosting → Domains → Add domain and enter it. We show the exact DNS records to set at your registrar, then check automatically and mark the domain live once it points to us.
Is HTTPS (SSL) included?
Yes, free. A certificate is issued automatically once your domain points to us, and it renews on its own. Website → HTTPS certificate shows its status and expiry date.
Can I change my plan?
Yes. Choose Change plan on your hosting page to move up or down. You pay only the pro-rata difference for the rest of your current term, and your files and databases stay where they are.
Can I see visitors and protect my site?
Website → Visitors shows your traffic, and Online status lets you take the site offline and back. On Golden you also get visitor captcha (bot protection) and country blocking under Security. Site health on the Overview checks uptime, DNS, HTTPS and PHP errors every 5 minutes and can repair DNS for you.
VPS & RDP servers
What's the difference between a VPS and an RDP server?
A Cloud VPS is a Linux server with full root access over SSH — great for apps, bots, VPNs and development. An RDP server is a Windows Server desktop you control remotely with full Administrator access.
Which regions and systems can I choose?
VPS regions: EU, UK, Singapore, India and Australia. VPS systems: Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, CentOS Stream and Fedora. RDP regions: EU, Germany, Netherlands, UK, US, Canada, India, Singapore and Australia. RDP systems: Windows Server 2019, 2022 and 2025.
How do I connect to my VPS?
Open the server in My services to see its IP address and root password (or use the SSH key you added). Then run ssh root@your-server-ip from a terminal.
How do I connect to my RDP server?
Open the server in My services and copy its IP address, username (Administrator) and password. Then connect with Remote Desktop Connection on Windows, or the Windows App on Mac, iPhone, iPad or Android.
Can I use SSH keys?
Yes. Save your keys once in Settings → SSH keys and pick them when you order a VPS, or add a key to a running VPS from its page.
How do I restart, reinstall or reset the password?
Everything is on the server's page: start, stop and reboot; reinstall the operating system (this erases the disk); reset the root or Administrator password; and give the server a nickname.
Can I resize my server?
Yes — choose Change plan to move to a bigger plan. The server restarts on the new plan in about 2–5 minutes, and your data, IP address and logins stay the same. You pay only the pro-rata difference.
Which billing terms can I choose?
VPS: 1 month, or prepay 3, 6 or 12 months to save 10%, 15% or 25%. RDP: 1, 2 or 3 months, where 2 and 3 months save 10% and 15%. Renewals repeat your term at the same discount, and you can switch to a different term when you renew.
Can I see my server's usage?
Yes. The server page shows CPU, RAM, disk and bandwidth from the last hour up to the last 30 days. RAM and disk figures need the monitoring agent — the page tells you if it's missing.
URL shortener
What is the URL shortener?
Branded short links on your own domain (like go.yourbrand.com/sale), with unlimited links, custom aliases and expiry dates, QR codes, click analytics and smart routing by country or device.
Which domain can I use for short links?
Any of these: A domain registered at JujuCloud — connected in one click. A domain you own elsewhere — add the DNS record we show and we verify it. A brand-new domain — register it while you set up.
How much does it cost?
One subscription covers unlimited links and domains, billed daily, weekly or monthly — see the Pricing page for current prices. Pay from your wallet or in crypto, with optional auto-renew.
What happens if my subscription ends?
Your short links and domains are paused, not deleted. Resubscribe and they work again.
Can I remove a domain from the shortener?
Yes, from the URL shortener page: open the domain and remove it. Short links on that domain stop working.
Billing & payments
How can I pay?
Crypto only: top up your prepaid wallet and pay from the balance, or pay a single order directly in crypto at checkout. We don't accept cards or bank transfers, and nothing is stored to charge you later.
How do I top up my wallet?
Go to Settings → Wallet and choose Top up. Enter an amount (minimum $10) and pick a coin and network. Send the exact amount to the address or QR code shown. Your balance updates once the network confirms the payment, and you get an in-app alert and an emailed receipt.
Where are my invoices and receipts?
Every purchase sends one emailed receipt. All payments are listed in Settings → Payment history with a PDF invoice to download, and crypto payments link to the transaction on a blockchain explorer. Your orders are in Settings → Orders.
Is there a discount for longer terms?
Yes. VPS and monthly hosting can be prepaid for 3, 6 or 12 months to save 10%, 15% or 25%. RDP saves 10% on 2 months and 15% on 3 months. Renewals keep the same discount.
How does auto-renew work?
Turn it on per service. Shortly before the renewal date we take the payment from your wallet balance — never from a card. We email you before every renewal and warn you if your balance won't cover it, so you can top up in time.
What happens if I don't renew in time?
Hosting, VPS and RDP are paused when they expire and kept for 48 hours. Renew within those 48 hours and everything comes back exactly as it was; after that, the service and its data are permanently deleted. We alert you when the 48 hours start and again about 12 hours before deletion. Domains follow the registry's grace period.
Can I get a refund?
If we can't set up something you paid for, the full amount goes back to your wallet automatically — no ticket needed. Domain registrations and renewals can't be refunded once completed (the fee goes to the registry), and wallet balance can't be withdrawn back to crypto. For anything else, contact support and we'll review it.
How do reward points work?
You get a $5 welcome credit, earn points on wallet top-ups and paid orders, and get $5 for every friend you refer (they get $5 too). Spend points at checkout. Settings → Rewards shows your balance and your referral link.
How do I cancel a service?
Turn off auto-renew and the service simply ends at the end of its term. You can also delete a domain, server or hosting plan right away from its page. Unused time isn't refunded.
Crypto checkout
Which coins do you accept?
BTC, ETH, LTC, SOL, XRP, DOGE, BCH, TRX, POL (Polygon), USDT on TRC-20, ERC-20 or Polygon, and USDC on ERC-20. Always send on the exact network shown — funds sent on a different network can be lost.
How do I pay with the address or QR code?
Pick a coin and network at checkout or when topping up. Scan the QR code with your wallet app, or copy the address and the exact amount. Send it in a single transaction. For XRP, include the destination tag shown. The rate is locked and the address stays valid for about 3 hours.
Do I need to keep the payment page open?
No — it's safe to close it. We keep checking in the background, and when the payment confirms you'll see a Payment confirmed alert in the app and get one emailed receipt with a blockchain explorer link.
How long does confirmation take?
Usually a few minutes. Bitcoin can take 10–30 minutes, and busy networks take longer. Your order or balance updates automatically once the network confirms.
What if I sent too little or too much?
If you sent too little, the order waits for the rest — you can pay the remaining amount from the payment screen, even in a different coin. If you sent more than needed, the extra is added to your wallet.
My payment hasn't shown up. What should I do?
First look up the transaction on a blockchain explorer — it may still be confirming. Payments that arrive after the address expired are still credited to your wallet. If it's confirmed and still missing after an hour, contact support with the transaction ID (TX hash).
Can a crypto payment be refunded?
Crypto payments are credited to your wallet in USD and can't be sent back to a crypto address. If a service can't be set up, the amount returns to your wallet automatically.
Account & security
How do I reset my password?
On the sign-in page, choose Forgot password? and enter your email. We send you a link to set a new password; it expires after a short time for safety.
How do I change my password?
Go to Settings → Account and update your password in the account settings section.
How do I turn on two-factor authentication (2FA)?
Go to Settings → Account → Security. Turn on an authenticator app (scan the QR code) or one-time codes by email. From then on, signing in asks for a code.
Can I change my email address?
Your sign-in email can't be changed from the dashboard, to keep your account safe. If you need a different email, open a support request from this page and we'll verify it's you. Accounts created with Telegram can add an email in Settings → Account.
Why can't I sign in?
After several wrong passwords or codes, sign-in is paused for a short time to protect your account — wait a few minutes and try again, or reset your password. If you signed up with Google or Telegram, use that same button again.
Will I know if someone signs in to my account?
Yes. We email you whenever your account is used from a new device, with the time and approximate location, so you can act fast if it wasn't you.
How do I create an API key?
Go to Settings → Account → API keys, create a key and copy it — it's shown only once. Send it in the x-api-key header. Keys can expire and be revoked at any time. See the Developer API docs for every endpoint.
How do I close my account?
Go to Settings → Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your account and its data. Remove or let your services expire first — remaining wallet balance can't be withdrawn.
Troubleshooting
My website is down. What should I check?
Open your hosting page — Site health shows uptime, DNS and HTTPS status and can repair DNS for you. Make sure the hosting and the domain haven't expired (look for an In grace badge). If you changed DNS or nameservers recently, give it time to update. Still down? Chat with support from this page.
My site shows a security (HTTPS) warning.
The free certificate is issued once your domain points to us. Check Website → HTTPS certificate on your hosting; if the domain was only just connected, wait a few minutes and reload.
I can't reach my VPS or RDP server.
Check on the server's page that it's running, and reboot it from there if it's stuck. Wrong password? Reset it from the same page. A firewall you set up inside the server can also block access.
My new domain isn't working yet.
New domains can take a few minutes (some extensions up to 48 hours). Make sure it's connected to something — hosting, a server (A record) or the URL shortener — and check the live DNS check in the DNS manager.
